Supermarkets and warehouse clubs sell whole-bean and ground coffee at the lowest prices, while roasters and specialty stores carry fresher, single-origin beans. Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Houston is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Steak nite was great. Steak made just the way I liked it with a good size baked potato. Ran into some old time friends and the dj was spinning some great tunes.

Great service, however the beer buckets were over priced we paid too much. No mix drinks. I loved the decor. The place is way way to small for a bar. One waitress. She was nice but she douple charged us for the buckets of beer.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place so maybe my expectations were high. If you’re an older guy/gal in your 40’s or 50’s and love cover bands then this is the place! I’m in my 40’s but don’t live in the past so there wasn’t much to entertain me. Also, they were running low on different brands of beer which sucked but Lone Star had to do. The outdoor stage was nice, PA seemed adequate. The cover band (John Barraza Project) was typical as far as the usual cover band you’d expect. β€œMake sure to tip your bartender!” after every song, naturally. πŸ˜‚

What more could you ask for. Great music, people & ice cold beer. Relaxing laid back atmosphere. Hang out on the deck with live music outside or inside. The owner is cool and you never know who you might run into just hanging out. He's had a couple of special guest drop in (Cheech Marin). See ya at the Hell Cat Cafe!!
